How They Hear: Prophetic revelations come through both thought as well as sensory feelings. Sometimes the intensity of the sensory enhances the thoughts giving the passion and urgency of feeling everything must be done immediately. They FEEL IT and so it MUST be done NOW is where this intensity comes from. This why someone with this tree for their heart design has an urgency about them, and almost feels like they live in the future.

Stuck/Misaligned: Surface. Their divine conviction and urgency becomes harsh judgment that devastates others. They use intensity to pressure people into immediate decisions, becoming critical and impatient when others don't match their urgency. They can turn this intensity inwards causing paralysis as they can never measure up. 

Healed/Truth: Deep. Their intensity becomes transformational power that creates breakthrough. They learn to deliver truth with wisdom and love, creating environments where truth brings restoration rather than destruction. Comes across with finesse and caring charisma instead of overbearing power.

Acacia connect via Emotions & Feelings

How They Hear:  Acacia receives input/data through a filter of both emotions and feelings. They filter what they hear through their emotions and feelings what needs to be done and for whom. These can feel conflicting at times, and can cause overwhelm in a world that forces mental cognition for commication.

• Esther – Received spiritual guidance through Mordecai’s counsel for serving her people
• Joseph (Mary’s husband) – Angel gave practical instructions for protecting/serving (Matthew 1:20)
• Barnabas – Heard through community worship to serve Paul (Acts 13:2)
• Timothy – Received calling through spiritual mentorship for service
• Ananias – Vision gave clear service assignment: “Go to Saul” (Acts 9:10-16)

Stuck/Misaligned: When Acaia obey without question and stay stuck, and can remain loyal to the wrong leaders. Fear of disappointing others prevents them from making necessary changes or holding others accountable. They accommodate to their detriment, saying yes when they know they need to say no.

Healed/Truth: Their obedience becomes righteous authority that empowers others. They learn to follow the right authority (God) and use their authority to create safety and growth for others.

Myrtle connect via Thoughts & Emotions

How They Hear: Study and understanding combined with a deep emotional commitment. They must both understand the materials, but also connect in an emotional way to the environment or people they are with, or learning from. If they cannot trust the teacher, organization or the materials, then they are not open to connect. Same goes for how they hear God, through trust in HIM and understanding His Word and experiencing God on a deep emotional level.

• Daniel – Studied scrolls of Jeremiah, given “knowledge and understanding” (Daniel 9:2, 1:17)

Perfection

Stuck/Misaligned: Needs all the facts before taking action. This perfectionism creates paralysis through over-analysis of content verification. They withhold information until it's "perfect" and procrastinate when pressured for quick decisions.

Healed/Truth: However, perfectionism is not always a bad thing! In the right heart, it becomes excellence that creates solid foundations. They learn to balance thoroughness with appropriate timing, providing wisdom that prevents costly mistakes. You can trust this Tree to bring a solid foundation with confidence.

Olive connect via Feelings

How They Hear: Direct spiritual connection through worship and encounter, and they way these are input is through feelings. Feelings are the sensory response to our environment or experiences.

• Paul – Paul FELT the spiritual encounter, light, falling, hearing, pure spirit-to-spirit connection (2 Corinthians 12:2-4)
• Moses – Face-to-face spiritual encounters in the tent of meeting (Exodus 33:11)
• Jeremiah – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” – intimate spiritual knowing (Jeremiah 1:5)
• Solomon – God appeared in dreams, wisdom flowing from spiritual connection (1 Kings 3:5)

Presence

Stuck/Misaligned: Presence that stays very surface with a sheild of positivity will avoid depth of relationships. Their enthusiasm masks emotional shallowness, and problems get glossed over rather than addressed. They will take everything instead of surface level gossip, where nothing is resolved. The REFUSE to deal with the problems head on.

Double snare trap: God designed this heart to go deep, and their unhealed hearts will think relationships are much deeper than they actually are. Falling in love quickly, or thinking ‘this is what I have been waiting for’, ‘finally accepted’ only to find it not having depth when tested.

Healed/Truth: Their presence brings in the depth of feelings with knowledge. The positive presence of transformative power goes to sow richly with accuratacy to bring authentic encouragement that can reach the deepest places. They learn to encourage through appropriate challenges, at the right time, not just feel good surface affirmations.

Pine connects via Thoughts

How They Hear: Prolonged mental processing and strategic wisdom (all mind) but can be through thoughts, audible, visions - but the connection is still fully mind based. This does not mean Pine lacks emotions or connections to the Holy Spirit. Pine connection pathways are through thoughts and processing.

• Job – Processed suffering until profound wisdom emerged: “My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you” (Job 42:5)
• Abraham – Processed covenant promises over decades of mental wrestling with God’s plan

Processing

Stuck/Misaligned: Withhold information to maintain influence mostly from fear. Flip-side they get really frustrated when their wisdom is unappreciated and withhold more. They think generationally but get stuck in over-analysis, or making others unfairly prove themselves, missing opportunities for real impact. Withholding is seen as prudent stewardship, but it is manipulative control.

Healed/Truth: When their hearts are healed, this Tree's analysis becomes strategic wisdom that creates lasting transformation. They learn to give generously with their wisdom, insights and resources while maintaining healthy boundaries, creating sustainable systems that multiply impact for generational legacy.

Fir connect via Thoughts, Feelings & Emotions

Fir are the ONLY TRICONNECTORS 

How They Hear: This archetype is the most unique because they way they hear is through a balance of all 3. They can become confused at others ways of hearing God, because they access all 3. This balance helps them to operate in a way unique to others, that gives a synergistic movement that is incredibly grounded and powerful. However, to obtain complete strategic vision they need to be engaging a balance, not one over the other.

• Nehemiah – Received complete strategic plan for rebuilding Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2:20)
• Noah – Direct instructions with specific measurements for the ark (Genesis 6:13-22)
• Boaz – Understood law (head), executed redemption (heart), trusted God’s timing (spirit)
• Joseph (son of Jacob) – Dreams of future leadership, strategic wisdom for provision (Genesis 41)

Protection

Stuck/Misaligned: Self-protection to defend their authority, position, and control through bulldozing and pressure and exploiting. They are impatient with others' processes and create resistance through force of demand “yes” men; remove the rest.

Healed/Truth: Covenant protection to  others, relationships, and reputations without exploiting. They raise up others through empowerment rather than from pressure, this Tree creates freedom for those they lead; building synergistic life-giving systems.

Box Tree. Emotions Only

How They Hear: a deep knowing, a pull or draw. The relationship is a conversation that never ends, it is completely relational and experienced through the emotions. The words are said, but it is the emotion in which the word is conveyed. God will say words, but it is the emotion that is the connection point. It’s the patting on the head of admonishment, the joyful smile that envelopes our body, the overwhelm of grief over someone the Lord loves turning away from him. We feel it within the depth of our being, the words and the feelings are not the motivator behind the connection, the pathway to the depth of emotional draw, pull and response within our body.

The world of psychology has labeled this heart type as 'Empaths'.

• Ruth – Received through covenant relationships (Naomi, Boaz)

Precision

Stuck/Misaligned: Accommodates because they can feel others’ pain as their own, then will withdraw from emotional overwhelm, cause a devastation cycle that leads to disillusionment. Unhealed, they seek for safety their precision to walk the ‘narrow path’. They take on others' problems because they don’t know what to do with all these burdens they can physically feel. They incorrectly trust that others will protect their wellbeing and not exploit them.

Healed/Truth: When walking in truth their precision becomes the perfect identifier for others alignment for breakthrough. Their accuracy of feeling becomes like a surgeon's tool when wielded correctly and without burden. When they learn their proper place is not from completion (or fulfilment), but from alignment to let THE LORD finish what HE began, then they become a powerful agent of transformation.
